Installation Engineer

Responsibilities
 

• Install and configure IoT devices and sensors at client sites.

• Connect installed devices to our web application, ensuring proper data transmission and integration.

• Conduct site assessments to determine the best installation locations for devices.

• Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to device installation and connectivity.    Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Provide on-site training to clients on how to use and maintain the devices.

• Perform regular maintenance and updates on installed devices as needed.

• Document installation processes and maintain detailed records of all installations and service calls.

• Collaborate with the technical support team to provide ongoing support to clients.
   

Qualifications
 

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics or a related engineering field.

• Proven experience as an Installation Engineer, Field Service Technician, or similar role.

• Strong technical skills and experience with electronic devices and systems.

• Familiarity with network configurations and connectivity troubleshooting.    Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

• Willingness to travel to client sites as required.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
